Business Lecturer - Exciting Opportunity in Harrow, London

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Business Lecturer to join our academic team in Harrow, London. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £32,455-£45,260 per annum, including London weighting.

As a Business Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in business studies. The role requires a commitment to fostering student success and supporting their academic journey. Qualifications:

1. A degree in Business, Management or related subject area.
2. Minimum level 5 teaching qualification recognized by the FE sector (e.g. DET, PGCE) or willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification, supported by the College.
3. Assessor award (A1 or equivalent).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

1. Experience of teaching BTEC Business Level 1, 2 or 3.
2. Evidence of delivering high rates of student attendance, retention and achievement.
3. The ability to engage and inspire vocational Business learners aged 16-18.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of Business and evidence of continuing professional development.
5. Previous experience of working in Business.
6. Knowledge and experience of T level qualifications.
7. Ability to take on course leadership responsibilities.
8. Good communication skills, written and verbal.
9. Good planning and organizational skills.
10. Good classroom practice.
11. Good IT skills, including the ability to deliver effective teaching online.
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
13. Understanding of the importance of Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding in an education environment.
14. Self-motivation and commitment to learner achievement.
