DESCRIPTION

The Same Day Speed Innovation team is at the forefront of business growth and innovation in EU. We're revolutionizing the customer experience through faster delivery times and innovative fulfillment solutions. Our team sits at the crucial intersection of technology and operations, driving improvements across the entire Same Day delivery network. We're seeking a senior technical product leader capable of defining and driving product vision while navigating ambiguous problem spaces to enhance our Same Day capabilities.

Position Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for solving complex and ambiguous data and metric problems. You will use latest AWS provided Data Analytics and GenAI tools (such as Quicksight, Amazon Q, Sagemaker) to provide business metrics for senior leaders. You should have a track record of end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment with minimum supervision. You should be able to work on complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity. You will be required to work with senior leaders, product managers, DEX, finance, operations, program managers and other data teams.

Key Job Responsibilities
As a business intelligence engineer, you will/may:
  1. Be highly data driven, resourceful, customer-obsessed and team oriented
  2. Use latest AWS provided data analytics and GenAI tools (such as Quicksight, Amazon Q, Sagemaker)
  3. Design, develop, and implement scalable, automated processes for data extraction, processing, and evaluation
  4. Define data driven approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights
  5. Have a passion for sourcing, manipulating, and visualizing data to tell business stories
  6. Be able to clearly communicate strategic findings and recommendations
  7. Translate complex, technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
  8. Work with engineering and data teams to support the development of tools and dashboards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
  2. Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  3. Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
  4. Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
  5. Experience with SQL
  6. Experience in the data/BI space

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
  2. Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
  3. Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
