Working knowledge of ESR BI is fundamental to support the lead analyst in monitoring progress and analysing data against all key performance targets.

Provide effective support to the performance management agenda and activities, assisting in the development of systems and processes within the Business Intelligence (BI) team, Care Groups, and corporate teams.
Work corporately as part of the Trust's BI function. Ensure compliance with Information Governance Standards, particularly in relation to relevant data protection legislation.

Actively contribute to the development of the BI systems and strategic developments/agendas.
Work in close collaboration across all care groups and corporate services to support the BI agenda, developing systems to help inform business intelligence, applying training of systems across the Organisation as relevant, incorporating compliance, quality, and workforce standards.
Ensure all measures are collected and reported rigorously in a timely fashion.
Utilise new technologies and presentational formats to deliver data/information to end-users, i.e., through the deployment and development of tools such as Yellowfin, Trak, Access, Excel, clinical dashboards, and other business and performance management tools (list not exhaustive).
Work with and support the development of new data sources, performance systems, and other reporting processes, working in conjunction with other members of the organisation (supporting business intelligence) providing training and cross-cover as necessary to share knowledge and skills.
Implement methodology in conjunction with the management team to improve efficiency and effectiveness of relevant systems and processes, including standard operating procedures. Be responsible for ensuring these procedures are implemented and compliance is maintained, along with ensuring any policy change is updated in a timely manner.
In conjunction with the management team for care groups, work to develop and implement new and innovative efficiency and productivity strategies to maximise the perioperative pathway and support operating theatre efficiency and productivity (service line management) based on a range of options supported by credible information and data.

£29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata per annum
