Job description

Overall Purpose of the Job:

This a new role working within the Research Strategy Team at University of Manchester. The Research Strategy Team supports the ongoing development and implementation of our research strategy, with this role helping to strengthen our analytical capability to understand research performance and facilitate strategic decision-making.

This role will also work very closely with the central Business Intelligence team within the Directorate of Planning acting as a direct link between the two teams to undertake and develop shared solutions.

The role-holder will also be a member of the university-wide Data Analyst Network, working with colleagues to develop and understand best practices and sharing knowledge and skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to self-development and continuous learning, demonstrating a proactive approach to horizon scanning further their knowledge whilst staying current with industry news, trends and best-practices.
