Job Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to drive new product sales into the assigned channels and ensure the customers are supported to achieve the budgeted sales.

Reports to: Commercial Director - EMEA

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of prospective new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve new account goal openings in assigned territory quarterly and annually.
  • Research and qualify prospects and demonstrate how Mine Tan can help them grow their service and retail profits.
  • Provide ongoing successful sell-in to existing clients.
  • Regularly review market trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide comprehensive business reviews, sales technique support, staff incentives and consumer events.
  • Plan, manage, and participate in events as driven by event/launch calendar.
  • Recognize and coordinate client education needs to ensure successful and knowledgeable sell-through of products.
  • Facilitate in-salon events and product knowledge classes.
  • Use SalesForce CRM to maximize effectiveness (e.g., set up agendas, log in activities from meetings, and note follow-up visits).
  • Work independently from a home office while managing a consistent meeting calendar with accounts.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maximize sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage the territory by establishing and employing efficient and productive field coverage with the direction and support of the Sales Manager.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Previous Experience:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in B2B sales in the beauty and/or hair-care industry.
  • Proven experience in business development and new business prospecting.
  • Home-based role in Greater London with some travel within the UK and Europe.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A qualification in a beauty-related discipline is a plus.
  • Good aptitude in analyzing issues and proposing solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create business relationships.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Computer skills (good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Salary: The position will be paid £50,000 annually (approximately $64,742.10 USD annually).
