Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Summary

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with prospective clients and demonstrating the value of VenturED's solutions.

A Day in the Life

  • Proactively generate and develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through outreach via email, phone, and social media.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs, showcasing the unique value of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement targeted campaigns that engage prospects and existing clients.
  • Understand and articulate the advantages of VenturED's solutions over competitors, addressing client challenges with confidence and expertise.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly activity, demo, and revenue targets.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including forecasting, reporting, CRM updates, and effective communication with stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who brings...

Experience:

  • 3-4 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the tech or EdTech sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A positive, solutions-focused mindset with resilience and adaptability.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Competency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and other sales tools.
