Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive – Liquid Waste
Salary: Circa £40-50K DOE, plus uncapped bonus and car allowance
Experienced Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive Needed in Liquid Waste Industry
Location: Covering East London, Essex, and Kent
Role Overview:
- Securing profitable contracts for liquid waste management services and large one-off jobs, particularly for tankered services.
- Collaborating with the technical team to ensure the efficient handling of materials.
- Engaging in cold calling, lead generation, and following up on inquiries to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Delivering presentations, providing consultations, and pitching solution-based services to potential clients.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in achieving targets in a similar new business role within the waste management or brokered waste services industry.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Sufficient exposure to hazardous waste to understand pre-acceptance requirements.
- Willingness to travel regionally and spend two days per week at the depot. A UK driving license is essential.
- Chemistry-based qualifications are a plus, but the primary focus is on sales skills.
