Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for direct sales and account management within your designated territory, driving revenue growth and market share for JRI products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets by managing and expanding a portfolio of high-value customers.
- Developing and executing strategic business plans to drive growth, ensuring the retention and expansion of key accounts.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers by proactively targeting competitor accounts and converting them to JRI Orthopaedics products.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with surgeons, hospital procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a proactive, goal-oriented approach, with strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and relationship management skills to succeed in a competitive orthopaedic market.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven success in hospital theatre sales, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to make sound judgments and strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication, IT, and presentation skills, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- A natural relationship builder who makes a strong personal impression, fostering long-term partnerships with key customers.
- Excellent analytical skills and a creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative solutions in a competitive market.
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a strong commitment to expanding knowledge of JRI products, services, and the wider orthopaedic sector.
