Business Development Manager – Spanish Speaker

Global events business seeks a highly talented Business Development Manager to join their rapidly growing sales team. This role will be selling into the Spanish market so fluent Spanish is a must here. This role will focus on a flagship event which consists of a large-scale exhibition and conference.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Base Salary + (Uncapped Commission) + Excellent Benefits

Location: Hybrid

You will be tasked with selling high value sponsorship and exhibition packages to businesses globally. The role involves key account management and some new business together with international travel.

Responsibilities:
  1. Generating new business, increasing pipeline and bringing on new prospects
  2. Manage a number of existing accounts
  3. Sell high-value sponsorship opportunities
  4. Pitch clients over the phone and through face to face meetings
  5. Attend competitor events
  6. Consultative selling is a key part of this role, the right candidate should be able to sell creatively, through solution led selling
Profile of Candidate:
  1. 1 year + in B2B media sales, recruitment or events
  2. Strong account management and new business capabilities
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Successful track record achieving revenue targets
  5. Consultative sales approach is a necessity here
