Business Development Manager (Solar)

Birmingham - Remote/Hybrid Working Considered

£65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Training + Progression + Flexible Work Options + Holidays + Pension

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a growing international business?

Do you have experience in business development related to large scale solar farms technologies?

This international company provides specialist operations and maintenance services to utility scale solar farms across Europe. They are continuing their growth and portfolio with exciting opportunities to assist in their development.

In this role, you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders and sourcing requirements from a range of new and existing clients. You will build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business while being the main point of contact within your region. This company has a large portfolio of diverse clientele, so you will not only utilise your new business development skills but will also manage pre-existing working relationships. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Business Development or Account Management position, either within the renewables, electrical or other related industries.

The role:

  1. Business Development Manager (Solar)
  2. Analysis of existing customer base to identify and secure new business.
  3. New business development
  4. Follow up on self-discovered and passed leads

The person:
  1. Previously worked within a role that has aspects of business development
  2. Knowledge of the renewables, electrical or similar sector
  3. Highly motivated and autonomous approach to work
  4. Excellent communication skills
