We are seeking a skilled and proactive Integrated Systems Sales Manager to help establish as a certified provider and to drive growth across a range of integrated systems solutions. Business Development Manager Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to manage the process of achieving certification for the company as a trusted integrated systems provider.
- Drive sales in the new build and residential markets, leveraging existing relationships and actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Network and engage with key decision-makers, attending industry events and utilising social media to expand your professional connections.
- Evaluate project requirements, ensuring an accurate assessment of scope, materials, and resources necessary for successful delivery.
- Prepare detailed quotations and project specifications, creating high-quality proposals that align with company goals to maximise gross margin.
- Work closely with consultants to navigate the certification process and ensure adherence to required standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to drive high standards within SCCIA's internal processes.
- Produce timely and accurate reports documenting certification achievements and supporting audit processes.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with suppliers, ensuring successful price negotiations and service agreements.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing concerns quickly and ensuring customer satisfaction is consistently maintained.
- Guide and assist colleagues within the organisation on integrated system solutions, sharing technical and commercial knowledge.
- Support marketing efforts by contributing to case studies, product information, and supplier updates.
- Participate in customer visits, demonstrations, and exhibitions, representing the company in a professional manner.
- Use CRM software to manage and track leads, opportunities, and trends, ensuring accurate reporting and administration.
- Uphold reputation for excellence by maintaining high standards in all internal and external interactions.
- Promote the company's values and ensure compliance with business policies and procedures in all dealings with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
Business Development Manager Skills and Experience:
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in a similar B2B sales environment, ideally with experience in integrated systems.
- In-depth Knowledge: A strong understanding of CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Gates & Barriers systems. Knowledge of Data Networks is a plus.
- Certifications & Standards: Familiarity with British Standards and the certification process for integrated systems.
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Experience with estimation software is advantageous.
- IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with an ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise manner.
- Client-Focused: A customer-first attitude with a commitment to delivering tailored solutions.
- Flexible & Reliable: Ability to travel across the UK as required, including occasional overnight stays, and work flexible hours to meet business needs.
