Job Description:

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help build and implement our sales strategy from the ground up. This role is an early stage, foundational role, and would be a great fit for someone who enjoys shaping and refining new processes and strategies in a startup environment. This role will be directly supporting the Founding Team, is highly independent, and is crucial to the long-term success of the business.

Tasks
  1. Develop and execute BD/Sales strategies that align with our company goals and the needs of our clients.
  2. Actively engage in selling our services, adapting our offerings based on client feedback and market trends.
  3. Use insights from sales activities to influence our product development and strategic decisions.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
  5. Find best ways to utilize the Nordstar Venture Studio network.
  6. Adapt and respond to the fast-paced nature of a startup, helping us fine-tune our product-market fit.
Requirements
  1. Experience in sales or business development, ideally within a technology company or consultancy/advisory firm.
  2. Strategic and pragmatic, with experience in crafting and leading initiatives that drive growth.
  3. Self-motivated and independent, comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  4. Very strong communicator, skilled in negotiation and building relationships.
  5. Keen interest in AI and Automation, with a willingness to continually learn and apply new concepts.
  6. Play a direct role in shaping our sales strategy, influencing our services strategy and overall direction of the business.
  7. Very high degree of independence with a support system of experienced colleagues in the background.
