Job Description:

We are partnering with a fast-growth SME, operating under the umbrella of a larger group. They design and manufacture Pumps, and after entering the market 2-3 years ago have rapidly increased revenue. They are now looking to continue this growth into another market segment.

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and convert new customers within the Process Manufacturing sector (Chemicals, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics Manufacturing, Packaging) across the UK.

Responsibilities

1. Identify new business opportunities across Process Manufacturing
2. Manage the entire sales cycle from identification through to engagement, negotiation, design (supported by technical experts within the business) and successful onboarding of the customer
3. Deliver significant revenue increases year-on-year
4. Collaborate with the wider business to ensure most effective market and product positioning

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2. Strong exposure to Sales/Business Development, including demonstrable ability to win new clients
3. Knowledge of Process Manufacturing customers
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Focused and goal-oriented

The head office is UK-based (South East England), but this is a remote position with travel to office and potential customers as required.

On offer is a salary of £50,000 to £60,000, plus car allowance and commission.
