Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the Hull area.
Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team servicing the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and establishing strong relationships with care home providers, healthcare facilities, and other stakeholders. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of the care home market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify new opportunities for business expansion.

Main Duties:
  1. Responsible for account spend and new business in specified region
  2. Confidently pitch/present the product range to prospective care organisations
  3. Hold effective meetings/visits with existing accounts to build relationships and capture spend
  4. Network with industry professionals, buyers, clinicians, interior designers, etc.
  5. Visits to care homes include presentations, product demos, and care staff training
  6. Based in Hull office - 1/2 days office, 3 days field sales
Person Specification:
  1. A self-starter who is independent, flexible, and dynamic to a business's needs
  2. Experience of working with care homes or the healthcare industry
  3. Entrepreneurial with a positive attitude and looks for opportunities
  4. Happy and willing to travel to and from potential clients and existing clients
  5. Looking for a career with a forward-thinking fast-growing company
