Join SquaredUp: As Business Development Manager, you'll drive SaaS adoption by building relationships with MSPs and CSPs, particularly within the Microsoft Partner community. You'll generate revenue through direct sales, achieve targets, and build a strong pipeline through prospecting. Supported by internal teams, you'll focus on establishing new accounts and upselling, with success measured by relationship quality and revenue growth.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Direct Sales: Sell SquaredUp Cloud to Service Providers.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a repeatable sales playbook.
3. New Business Development: Target and sell to tech leaders (CTO, CIO) within the Microsoft Partner community.
4. Account Management: Cross-sell and upsell to existing Service Provider customers.
5. Deal Negotiation: Structure deals and negotiate contracts.
6. Lead Generation: Generate leads through networking, events, and social outreach.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing and product teams.
8. Market Feedback: Provide client feedback and market insights to the Product Management team.
9. Reporting: Report sales progress to management.
10. Continuous Learning: Maintain and expand product knowledge.

Your expertise:

1. Experience in selling B2B SaaS products at an enterprise level.
2. Successful track record selling to Service Providers, ideally within the Microsoft Partner community.
3. Experience in the observability/monitoring space is highly desirable.
4. Must have a good understanding of how MSPs operate and the value they add to their customers.
5. Have managed SaaS sales with an average deal size of £20k - £100k, with a 6 – 18 month sales cycle.

Desirable:

1. Knowledge of the main cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their go-to-market partner programmes.
2. Experience of establishing effective channel partnerships.
