Business Development Manager / IT Sales Executive who has previous experience developing IT sales opportunities within an MSP / IT Managed Service Provider environment is required for an established IT Company based in London.

SALARY: £36,500 - £48,000 per annum + Generous Commission Structure + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid / London (SW6)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Business Development Manager / IT Sales Executive who has previous experience developing IT sales opportunities within an MSP / IT Managed Service Provider environment.

Working as a Business Development Manager / IT Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the business through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing client relationships. You'll collaborate closely with the management team and IT Solution Architects to craft tailored solutions that drive client satisfaction and revenue.

As the Business Development Manager / IT Sales Executive you will leverage your exceptional sales and relationship-building skills to identify, pursue, and close opportunities that align with the service offerings.

This role requires a strong understanding of technology services, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Business Development Manager / IT Sales Executive include:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the target market to achieve sales and revenue goals
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and qualifying potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs, and utilise this knowledge to effectively position the company’s services
  • Manage Sales Pipeline tracking progress at various stages of the sales cycle and providing regular updates to management
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure accurate scoping and delivery of services that meet client requirements and expectations
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospects, highlighting the unique value proposition of the services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to maximise profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using the CRM system
  • Continuously monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in managed services to maintain a competitive edge

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in business development within an IT managed services provider industry
  • Strong knowledge of managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, Microsoft O365 and other technology solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a target-driven mindset
  • A collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service with the ability to navigate the sales cycle with finesse and resilience
  • Expertise in identifying client needs and proposing tailored solutions
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
