T&K Associates have a really exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in IT Sales to join our Client based in Coalville on a permanent basis.


Our Client is an exciting and fast growing IT services provider and they are looking for someone with a track record in IT sales that is passionate about sales and driven by success. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and developing business to new and existing Customers through sales of IT hardware, Software, MSP professional services and Helpdesk Support contracts. It will be your responsibility to identify and generate new prospects, converting them into key accounts.


Business Development Manager Job Benefits:


  1. £30k basic with an excellent uncapped commission plan (uncapped OTE £70k +)
  2. Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm - 1 hour lunch
  3. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Business Development Manager Job Responsibilities:


  1. Build and maintain Client relationships with the ability to meet daily & monthly targets
  2. Track and record metrics through the sales process
  3. Meet and exceed financial goals
  4. Able to generate own sales pipeline through cold calling and lead generation
  5. Ability to build a rapport and relationship with both new and existing Clients over the phone
  6. Ability to create Customer quotations
  7. Attend relevant vendor led training courses and accreditations
  8. Attend local networking events and canvassing campaigns as and when required
  9. Ability to produce professional sales quotations and proposals

Business Development Manager Person Specification:


  1. A minimum of 12 months experience within an IT reseller and good understanding and knowledge of the IT and/or telecom industry
  2. Previous experience of consulting with Clients over the phone
  3. Strong sales, interpersonal and organisational skills
  4. Comfortable with multitasking and able to budget your resources to meet the assigned quota for your role
  5. Happy working in a target driven and focused role
  6. The ability to learn new skills and products quickly and effectively
  7. Self-motivation is essential and the ability to work under your own initiative
  8. Enthusiastic with a friendly and positive personality
  9. Excellent communication skills
  10. Good accuracy and strong attention to detail
