Business Development Manager - HVAC Products

Job Title: Business Development Manager - Mechanical Ventilation Products

Industry Sector: HVAC, Mechanical Ventilation, Ventilation Products, Ventilation Systems, Air Handling Units, Extract Fans, Ducting, Heat Recovery, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Building Services, Housing Developers

Area to be covered: National

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + 20% bonus

Benefits: Electric company car or £450 car allowance + comprehensive benefits package

The role of the Business Development Manager - Mechanical Ventilation Products will involve:
  1. Field sales position selling a high-quality manufactured range of mechanical ventilation & heat recovery systems
  2. Selling to and generating specifications with M&E consultants, M&E contractors, building services consultants, architects, contractors, specifiers, and housing developers
  3. Developing relationships with various national electrical wholesalers
  4. Dealing with typical projects of around £50k - £500k depending on the size of the project
  5. Projects could include high-rise residential, apartment blocks, hotels, etc.
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Mechanical Ventilation Products with:
  1. Experience selling to M&E consultants & M&E contractors, building services consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors (not essential)
  2. Experience selling HVAC products such as ventilation products, ventilation systems, heat recovery units, ducting units, air handling units, air conditioning, extract fans, boilers, radiators, attenuation units, etc.
  3. Strong technical knowledge and capabilities
  4. Genuine hunger and desire to achieve
  5. Results-oriented, energetic
