Business Development Manager - HGV Contract Hire

A major commercial vehicle organisation is looking for a driven and professional business development manager - field sales professional to sell contract hire for their range of commercial vehicles throughout Yorkshire and across to Lancashire. A proven record of commercial vehicle contract hire business development and sales is essential for this role. Based in any area in Yorkshire and across to cover Lancashire.

ROLE:

  1. Manage and develop contract hire customer base to meet sales targets through sales, marketing, regular customer reviews and other necessary actions.
  2. Identify and develop potential contract hire sales opportunities with new and existing customers building the appropriate specifications and package offers.
  3. Clearly communicate with the wider business areas so that all appropriate stakeholders are updated appropriately.
  4. Manage the financial aspect of all sales to company standard.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. Results focused - drive and energy with an appetite for new challenges.
  2. Strong contract hire business development and sales background in the commercial vehicle sector - Essential.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate at all levels within a business, including board and senior levels, as well as with their own peers.
  4. Strong understanding of contractual negotiations.
  5. A thorough understanding of the financing of business assets.

LOCATION: Yorkshire to Lancashire
BASIC SALARY: £30k to £35k
COMMISSION: Uncapped £70k plus. £500 commission guarantee for the first 3 months
