Global technology consultancy BBGC are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our UK Team.

We have extensive expertise in Capital Markets and, in particular, Trading and Risk Management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Drive new business wins and put together proposals. Develop and execute on a sales strategy. Lead the negotiation and closing of opportunities.
  2. Financial Management: Run operations at multiple accounts. Understand common approaches to working with procurement organizations across client sizes and industries.
  3. Industry Experience: Demonstrate expertise, passion, and thought leadership driving transformation in the consulting & technology industry.
  4. Client Relationships: Work closely with internal business leaders. Manage partnerships with clients at the C-level, mitigating risk when issues arise.
  5. Portfolio Management: Create an account plan for high complexity, multi-market accounts.
  6. Public Relations: Promote BBGC via social media channels and by attending/speaking at industry events.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a business development role in a technology services/consultancy firm.
  2. Relevant experience working with the technology industry, either in-house and/or consulting industry.
  3. Experience managing sales for complex digital transformational programs that include people, processes, and technology.
  4. Hands-on contract negotiation experience with NDAs, MSAs, & SOWs.
  5. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong English writing skills & experience creating compelling content for presentations to clients.
  7. Experience overseeing client engagements & ability to influence consultants & stakeholders to desired outcomes.
  8. Awareness of industry best practices & thought leadership.
