Job Description:

Our client, one of the UK's largest Business Supplies/Services Providers, is looking to recruit a consultative Business Development Manager to generate new business across the Bath/Swindon/Wales area. Working completely remotely (meeting clients weekly at your discretion and managing your own diary), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!

Our client provides a range of products/services to both Private and Public Sector clients and is firmly established as one of the most successful businesses in their industry. Their success stems from their consultative approach, industry-leading logistical capability, and devotion to providing a phenomenal experience to their client base. Due to their growth, they are actively seeking the right candidate to generate new business relationships across this designated area, exceeding sales targets.

In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Generating new business across the aforementioned area
  2. Owning the sales cycle from start to finish (initial lead generation through to meeting/pitch/close)
  3. Exceeding sales KPI's/GP revenue targets
  4. Understanding the individual needs of each client before selling the correct solution to them - offering a very consultative sales approach
  5. Growing client spend through a consultative sales approach
  6. Meeting with clients regularly (monthly reviews), in order to strengthen working relationships
  7. Researching, preparing, and conducting customer presentations
  8. Maintaining excellent customer relationships and liaising with all internal departments to ensure effective management of contracts

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

  1. Experience of generating new business/owning the entire sales cycle from lead to close
  2. 'Hunter'-type mentality
  3. Demonstrable experience of exceeding sales/profit targets
  4. Full driving licence (and own car!)
  5. Fun, sociable personality!

In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000, our client is also offering the following:

  1. Uncapped monthly commission (realistic Year One OTE: £5,000 - £10,000)
  2. £4,000 car allowance
  3. Full autonomy of own diary (working remotely and travelling to meet with clients when required)
  4. Incredible progression opportunities!
