We are seeking a results driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Portsmouth. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in unexplored sectors. You will develop robust relationships with potential clients and effectively position Clemtech's recruitment services to meet their hiring needs.

What you will be involved in:

1. Conduct market research to identify and analyse potential sectors for business expansion.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to enter new markets and successfully promote Clemtech's services.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients from diverse industries.
4. Utilise your industry knowledge to deliver tailored recruitment solutions to clients.
5. Monitor industry trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
6. Track and report on sales metrics, forecasts and overall market performance.
7. Attend industry and networking events and conferences to promote Clemtech and generate leads.

What we are looking for:

1. Proven experience in business development, preferably within the engineering/technical sector, recruitment or HR industry.
2. Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and various industry sectors.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
4. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
