Business Development Manager (Expo)

Chancery Lane, City of London

Reporting to: Buyer Relations Manager

Hybrid (minimum of 3 days in London Office)

Role Type: Full Time

Salary: c.£35- £40

OTE: c.£45-£50

We have an opportunity for a motivated Business Development Executive to join the Buyer Relations team to work for Worldwide Events, the company behind m&i, Private Luxury Events, TFest and Amour.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach and exceed buyer recruitment targets every month
  • Manage full recruitment process from prospecting to confirmed attendance of buyers
  • Nurture a long-lasting relationship with clients and develop a thorough understanding of their business
  • Keep up with industry trends to advise on strategies and tactical development
  • Attend events to further develop relationships with clients and assist with onsite event management

About You:

  • Results-driven performer with a proven track record in sales, specifically in expos, trade shows, or sponsorship sales
  • Positive attitude and hunger to succeed in sales
  • Strength and confidence in selling as well as in-person presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management
  • Experience using a CRM and Office 365
  • Good people skills
  • Additional language skills are an advantage
