Business Development Manager - Social Housing & Construction Services
£60K - £75K + Benefits
London / South East


We are working in partnership with a leading Construction & Regeneration Main Contractor to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team in the South East, focusing on winning refurbishment and retrofit social housing projects and contracts, windows and doors, new build and JV opportunities to support our business expansion plans.


You will be responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding brand presence covering all of the services, whilst managing existing partnerships and evaluating company business goals.


Business Development Manager Essential Skill / Experience
  1. Previous experience working in a senior business development role for a similar company (Tier 1 or Tier 2)
  2. Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth within the relevant sectors.
  3. Ambitious and target focused with a drive to succeed.
  4. Displays a client-centred approach.
  5. An effective communicator who is able to adapt their communication style depending on the audience.
  6. Highly developed organisational and planning skills, time management skills and written/oral communication skills.
  7. Commercially astute.
  8. KPI monitoring and analytical skills.
  9. Up-to-date knowledge of the industry, sector and marketplace trends.
  10. Influencing and stakeholder management.
  11. Advanced IT skills (Microsoft package).
  12. Business Administration or similar degree level education beneficial.
  13. Must be flexible in hours of work and travel and hold a full UK driving licence.

Business Development Manager Salary & Benefits
