Our client is a leading industrial supply company providing high-quality solutions to the construction, engineering, and industrial sectors. With a strong reputation for reliability and service excellence, they are expanding their Plant & Tool Hire division and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth in this key area.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the Plant & Tool Hire division. You will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Business Growth: Identify, target, and win new business opportunities within the plant and tool hire market.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity, helping to shape sales strategies.
Sales & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Reporting & Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the plant hire, tool hire, or construction equipment rental industry.
Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of plant and tool hire products and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive sales results.
A proactive and strategic mindset with a passion for developing new business opportunities.
Full UK driving licence.
Competitive salary with £40k + 2% profit based commission structure.
