As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be integral to driving new business, fostering client relationships, and working with internal teams to achieve company goals. Please note that this role requires frequent travelling.
Business Development Manager – The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. You’ll be responsible for:
- New Business Development
- Client Retention
- Business Development Planning
- General Management Responsibilities

Business Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out new opportunities and clients that meet the departments criteria
- Support existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Work collaboratively with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Undertake sales/estimating site surveys on refurbishment projects and hand details to the estimators for quoting
- Chase through quoted projects to help estimators with conversion to orders
- Attend pre-contact meetings and undertake presentations
- Provide regular comprehensive sales reports to the Commercial Director
- Utilise the CRM platform for recording project related information
Business Development Manager – You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand client needs and build lasting relationships
- Knowledge of the façade, envelope, or construction industries
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel frequently as required by the role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction and/or aluminium glazing industry would be beneficial
