Job description

Our global client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. As a member of the UK Sales team, your main role will be to find, qualify, and convert leads into sales opportunities that generate revenue.


Job Title: Business Development Manager


Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (remote or hybrid)


Reports to: Director of Sales UK


Salary: Up to £37,000 pa + annual commission

Business Development Manager duties and skills required:

  1. Managing a portfolio of prestigious clients and having experience with upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts.
  2. Qualifying inbound leads from marketing campaigns and converting them into sales opportunities.
  3. Contacting potential customers through cold calls, emails, virtual meetings, and other digital channels.
  4. Managing pipelines in CRM tools on a daily basis.
  5. Identifying prospect needs through effective communication and strong conversational skills. Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
  6. Presenting to prospects and customers.
  7. Meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual targets based on KPIs.
  8. Ideally higher education level and 3+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing, preferably in consumer products or technology.
  9. Experience working with CRM tools like SFDC.
  10. Ability to travel.
