We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Business Development Manager to spearhead sales efforts in the UK. As the BDM, you will be at the heart of commercial operations, taking ownership of medium to large accounts and unlocking potential across your territory. With your in-depth product knowledge and strategic mindset, you will craft tailored solutions that align with client needs and elevate our brand in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Sales Performance: Execute targeted commercial initiatives, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  2. Identify New Opportunities: Actively prospect and develop new business, driving margin improvements and forging strong customer relationships.
  3. Account Management Excellence: Manage and grow medium to large accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships that deliver profitable results.
  4. Establish Connections: Build rapport with key decision-makers and ensure seamless delivery on contractual commitments.
  5. Manage Your Territory: Take ownership of territory coverage and lead funnel management, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities and high conversion rates.
  6. Quote and Order Coordination: Handle quotes, orders, claims, and complaints, ensuring a smooth customer experience and timely resolution of issues.
  7. Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  8. Plan and Execute: Organise high-quality sales calls and visits to both new and existing customers, producing insightful reports to track progress and results.
  9. CRM Mastery: Maintain up-to-date customer information, lead progression, and account plans within our CRM system, ensuring a streamlined process from start to finish.

Key Performance Measures:
  1. Revenue and Margin: Achieve set sales targets and profitability goals.
  2. Territory Coverage: Maximise reach and coverage across your customer base.
  3. Account Growth: Deliver measurable growth within your accounts, focusing on both quantity and quality.
