£31,000 per annum plus £16,250 OTB

Job Description

Reed.co.uk is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Sales Team in Holborn, London.

Overview

The primary responsibility is the generation of revenue through the acquisition of new customers and winning-back customers who have previously churned within the Direct Employer SME sector.

Growing the number of active customers using our service is a key business goal, making the success of the Business Development Executive fundamentally tied to our business’ success.

The role involves developing relationships with new and previously churned customers, keeping abreast of the jobs markets and using expertise to close business. Your prospects will be SMEs, defined by having less than 1,000 employees within their organisation. The role will require a large volume of transactions as we seek to cover more of the job market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Hitting ambitious acquisition revenue targets.
  2. Growing the business’ customer numbers by generating new and returning business from SME prospects - both inbound and outbound.
  3. Working closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure that free and paid trials convert onto longer term paid contracts.
  4. Maintaining a seamless relationship with the Retention sales team, ensuring the smooth handover of new accounts once they have been closed.
  5. Meeting KPIs as set by Head of Sales and Sales Manager.

Skills and Experience

  1. Demonstrable experience in developing new business revenue.
  2. Enthusiastic and creative problem solver.
  3. A consultative approach to sales and being comfortable asking for business.
  4. A proven track-record of consistent achievement of sales KPIs and targets.
  5. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills and an ability to interact with diverse audiences.
  6. Results driven, motivated and passionate about sales.
  7. Strong commitment to personal excellence, self-disciplined, well presented and resourceful with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
