We are offering £25.5k basic plus KPI driven bonuses (OTE £29K). The role is a hybrid role with a 80/20 split between office and home.

Purpose

The role of Business Development Executive/B2B Technology Advisor is to proactively identify, generate and cement enterprise level opportunities in line with the business’s strategic technology and services growth areas. Working closely with the wider sales and marketing teams, you will have access to rich data, warm leads, engaged contacts and plenty of effective tools and systems to help deliver quality converting outbound and inbound business development activities. You will have the opportunity to manage your own pipeline and utilise some of the best digital sales and marketing automation tools available.

Core Responsibilities

  • To generate an agreed amount of quality, high value opportunities to support the wider sales team and business plan
  • To understand with capability, the wide range of possible solutions and services offered and how to sell them
  • Generate new opportunities from existing and lapsed accounts
  • Inbound lead qualification and relationship building
  • Maintenance and management of CRM in relation to activity
  • Proactive identification of quality opportunities and outbound sales activity
  • Account Based Sales activity for key target accounts
  • Transactional customer growth

Experience/Knowledge Bank Essential

  • Experience of building sound customer relationships through outbound calling
  • Experience and knowledge of working in technology and or Software sales environment
  • Proven track record of success in an outbound calling role
  • Ability to learn and retain large amounts of product information
  • Experience of delivery Account Based Sales activity
  • Ability to execute rigorous and quality sales cadence processes
  • IT literate, using CRM systems, tools and social media
  • Understanding of sales and marketing systems and CRM and automation
  • Experience and commitment to updating and managing records in a CRM
  • Experience of time management and prioritisation when working with high volume of leads
