Are you a driven individual with some experience in business development or sales, and are you seeking a new opportunity in London? Murray McIntosh is excited to be assisting a renewable energy organisation in their search for a Business Development Executive for a full-time position.

As the Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales campaigns related to membership, sponsorship and events. Additionally, you will contribute to the key account management of various members, with some travel required across the UK.

In this role, you can expect to:

  1. Assist the Membership Director in expanding sales activities, attracting new members and identifying sales and sponsorship opportunities.
  2. Contribute to the growth of the exhibition, events, and sales pipeline by managing prequalified leads and making outreach calls.
  3. Support the key account management.
  4. Achieve targets for product sales in new markets (subscriptions) and conduct relevant research to identify new markets and targets.

To be successful in this Business Development Executive role, you should possess solid sales experience and also have:

  1. Exceptional customer service skills with confidence in telephone and face-to-face communication.
  2. Confidence in short and long term sales communication.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Access, Excel, and Word.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Our client operates a hybrid working environment from their office in Central London, meeting as a team when required with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.

This is a full-time, permanent position and applicants must be eligible to work permanently in the UK. Unfortunately, sponsorship cannot be offered.
