The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, motivated individual with a nose for new business and a head for detail. In this role, you’ll work closely with our client’s field sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities using lead generation tools, news sources, social platforms, and good old-fashioned industry savvy.
You’ll also handle pricing from tender enquiries, update their CRM with meaningful, accurate data, and be a dependable support partner for the external sales and specification teams. If you’ve got a background in sales support or construction and love keeping things organised while spotting growth opportunities—this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and qualifying leads using platforms like Glenigan, LinkedIn, and industry news.
  2. Building relationships with key decision-makers such as Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
  3. Inputting and maintaining high-quality CRM data to support sales efforts.
  4. Submitting pricing from BOQs, drawings, and tender enquiries to tight deadlines.
  5. Daily support to the external sales team and ongoing collaboration with Sales Managers.
  6. Coordinating sample requests for specifiers, contractors, and customers.
  7. Rolling up your sleeves for other relevant duties as needed—no two days are quite the same!

What You’ll Bring:
Essential:
Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (including Maths and English)
1+ year experience using a CRM system
1+ year experience in sales administration
Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel, Word & Outlook)
A confident telephone manner and the ability to influence
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to spot and support commercial opportunities
Desirable:
Experience working with architects, engineers, or specifiers
Knowledge of construction products or building materials
A third-level qualification in a business-related discipline
Experience generating new business opportunities

Who You Are:
Enthusiastic, confident, and results-driven
Organised and systematic with a genuine interest in sales
Positive attitude and self-starter energy
A great team player who collaborates with ease
Able to travel to/from work areas when needed
