The Aixial Group is an International Contract Research Organization (CRO), a member of the ALTEN Group, providing complex services in clinical trials (phase I-IV) and non-interventional studies. Our offices are located in France, UK, US, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Romania, and India.

The CRO occupies a unique position in the clinical research industry, supporting biotech and pharma companies across all phases of development, as an expert in the operational delivery of clinical trials in complex disease areas including oncology and rare diseases with full-service and FSP models.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Business Developer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to fast-track their Business Development career in life sciences. We are looking for a driven, self-starter who enjoys working in a global, dynamic, and intellectually stimulating environment.

The BD position can be remote/homebased anywhere in the UK, Spain, and Portugal.

The Role:

  • Business Developer (+5 years) with a focus on FSP services and strategic consulting within the Mid-size Pharma industry. Targeting medium to large pharmaceutical companies, the successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by offering tailored solutions to support clinical development at our clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target medium to large pharmaceutical companies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the pharma sector.
  • Identify FSP platform needs and deliver customized solutions to support clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Meet sales targets and report on market trends and client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales in the CRO or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of FSP and strategic consulting within clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships with medium to large pharma companies.
  • Experience in selling FSP solutions to one or more of the following services: Biometrics, Medical Writing, Regulatory affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Operations.
