Business Developer - Rail Industry

Are you a sales person with experience of developing business within the engineering or technical industries? If so, our client, a leading supplier within the rail industry, is seeking a Business Developer to define and implement a business development and sales plan to promote a new range of industry leading products and services.

About the role

1. Ownership and delivery of agreed sales budgets and forecasts
2. Identify new business opportunities along with the maintenance and development of existing accounts
3. Increase company's sales and profitability
4. Ensure continuous improvement in level of knowledge and expertise in industry developments and convey this to colleagues

About you

1. Ideally degree qualified with proven track record of sales and business development within a technical arena
2. Demonstrable experience delivering exceptional customer service, sales growth and customer retention
3. Solid experience of selling technical solutions and services
4. Strong commercial acumen and a consultative and honest approach to securing sales

The role is based in Rainham, Essex with occasional travel. A Full Driving Licence is required. No Certificate of Sponsorship is available for this role.
