Artemis Talent have the privilege of working with a leading developer of Energy Trading and Risk Management Software who are growing in the UK. Due to the overwhelming success of their product this year and the continued growth of their business they are looking to expand their Physical Commodities Team with a Business Consultant. They have a number of new business wins that are due to start at the end of Q3 and require experienced consultants to help get the projects off the ground.

The role:

• You will sit alongside the Physical Commodities Delivery Team, working on client site to be part of the delivery process. Work in conjunction with the business you will be required to gather their requirements and write functional specs to meet their criteria.
• You will be responsible for holding workshops for the clients to ensure full understanding of the systems and of its functionality.
• My client has prestigious clients across Europe and Asia delivering into some of the most influential trading houses around the globe.

Applicant requirements:

• The ideal candidate will come from a Physical Commodities Background, either from the business or as a business analyst.
• You will need to be very competent in front of traders and be able to hold a conversation and understand the full lifecycle of an oil trade.
• You will need outstanding communication skills to ensure you know exactly what the Trader is looking for.
• You will need to have the knowledge of every aspect of the front office and have understanding of risk.
• As a physical oil expert you will also be expected to have detailed understanding of logistics and shipping.
