Role Overview
As the Project Manager for Business Change, you will be a key delivery member of our Business Change business unit. Your core responsibility will be to manage multiple projects, ensuring revenue is delivered on time and within budget. Primarily, though not limited to, you will manage a portfolio of Google Gemini and Workspace solution engagements, working with a dynamic team of Deployment Specialists, Collaboration Engineers, Change Managers and Trainers who specialise in delivering high-quality services and projects to our clients in the UK and across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery resources across multiple project engagements to ensure efficient utilisation and effective delivery of project deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Track project progress and report on project status to stakeholders, including regular updates on project scope, timeline, budget, and risk management.
- Take ownership for the financial success of the projects you deliver, by successfully managing the budgets and margin of your project.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication channels.
- Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Identify and resolve project issues and roadblocks, escalating as necessary.
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Identify and highlight process improvements and champion change within the cloud delivery team to encourage innovation and efficiencies.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, creative technology environment whilst maintaining a customer centric approach.
- Be proactive in our drive towards social progress and positive impacts, getting involved in community projects or buying local when travelling with the company.
Requirements
- Experience within a support function and/or professional services organisation.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management software is desirable.
- Experience from a customer-focused technical organisation is desirable.
