Business and Finance Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Finance & Resources

SALARY: Scale PO4 (37-38) £50,646 - £51,663 pa (Prorated: £37,633 - £38,389 pa)

HOURS OF WORK: 4 days / 0.8 (28 hours per week – Term Time Only + 10 Days)

We are seeking a proactive Business and Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Resources, you'll oversee financial management, budget planning, procurement, and contract management. You will line manage a Finance Officer, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and supporting the school's sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting
2. Supporting budget planning
3. Overseeing procurement processes
4. Supporting grant applications and fund management

Requirements:

1. A relevant finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
2. Strong financial management experience
3. Excellent leadership and analytical skills
