Job Title: Business Analyst / Product Owner (Payments Experience - Farnborough)
Location: Farnborough (Hybrid 3x days a week)
Salary/Rate: £295 per day inside IR35
Start Date: March 2025
Job Type: 12-month Contract

My Client in the financial services space is urgently seeking a Payments Business Analyst/Product Owner to assist with an initial 12-month contract for a hybrid role based in Farnborough.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Consult product stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Work with Product Managers to evaluate the Product Roadmap to identify features for development and identify "definition of done" for each feature.
3. Lead robust, fast inceptions (identify scope, value, solution) and own prioritized actionable backlogs.
4. Elicit, capture, analyse and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and other technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Defining the key features, specifications, and requirements based on Local Market/Market Enablement input that Delivery Teams can then action.
2. Supporting in creating project timelines to allow for work sequencing, etc.
3. Experience in the Payments space is required.
4. Experience in SAFe Agile or Agile Scrum is a plus.
5. Analytical and critical thinking to ensure things are thought through E2E.
