The opportunity

Uphold is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Consumer team. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll get to report directly to our CEO Consumer and assist the team in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects related to consumer products and Web3 technologies. This hybrid role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

*This is an ideal position for a recent Graduate (MBA preferred) or undergraduate focusing in Business Studies, keen on creating and presenting ideas using financial models and sourcing data.

We are looking for a driver, entrepreneur, a "Go Getter" who wants to grow with the company. This is an amazing opportunity to work directly with our CEO Consumer Division and gain valuable insight into the Web3 community.

*This is a 12 months Fixed-Term Contract of Employment.

Primary responsibilities

1. Project Coordination:
   • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
   • Coordinate project activities and ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
   • Track project progress and report on status, risks, and issues.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Prepare and update project documentation, status reports, and project plans.
   • Assist in the creation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
   • Collaborate with the CEO Consumer Division, Product to create PowerPoint presentations from a multitude of data sources.
   • Must have a strong understanding and ability to take data and turn it into a "story."
3. Communication:
   • Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and partners.
   • Schedule and organize meetings, including preparation of agendas and follow-up on action items.

Required qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology and its applications is a plus.
• Fluent written and oral English skills.

Bonus if you have:

• Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
• Strong interest in Web3 technologies and consumer products.
• Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your interests and research.
• Open source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you've had or fixing issues on existing projects.
