Business Analyst

On behalf of our well-established and growing client based in South Manchester, we are recruiting for a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you will deliver implementation and business consultancy services and work with customers to advise them through the full project life cycle to help them achieve the optimum solution to meet their business requirements.

The duties of a Business Analyst will include but not be limited to:

• Providing expert implementation and business consultancy services and training for our clients' solutions in accordance with project documentation, implementation guidelines, and quality standards.
• Providing support and advice to customers on the use and configuration of solutions on an ad-hoc basis, providing clear and effective resolutions.
• Demonstrating our client’s solutions to prospective and existing customers, proposing recommendations to meet their business requirements.
• Producing and maintaining internal and customer-facing documentation to a high standard, including solution designs, project documentation, user and configuration guides, and technical specifications.
• Contributing to the product development roadmap and strategy, helping to identify product gaps, suggesting enhancements and new solutions in line with sector and legislation changes.

The Business Analyst will have:

• Knowledge of HTML, XML, Web services, and SQL.
• Strong expertise in interfaces and integrations.
• Positive, proactive, and self-motivated.
• Capability of delivering effective meetings and workshops, documenting them appropriately.
• The ability to demonstrate software solutions, and effectively present themselves, the company, and the product.
• The ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines, manage expectations, and change control.
