Role: AVP Business Analyst

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £55,000, + 20% bonus, 7% pension, private medical insurance

Working Style: Hybrid – 2 days onsite

Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into innovative and cost-effective technology solutions. You will be an integral player in designing and delivering solutions that meet the evolving demands of a complex business environment.

You will contribute to projects that drive efficiencies, enhance customer experiences, and align with the business’s strategic goals. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document project requirements.
• Lead analysis for small projects or specific workstreams within larger programs.
• Provide innovative recommendations to support effective delivery of requirements.
• Support project roadmaps, estimating timelines and ensuring alignment with overarching delivery goals.
• Adhere to governance processes, securing appropriate sign-offs and ensuring alignment with bank-wide strategies.
• Engage with project teams to understand stakeholder needs and ensure their requirements are met.
• Communicate project requirements, changes, and outcomes clearly to users, clients, and developers.

Required Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in business analysis, including analysing data from various systems and stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and waterfall methodologies, with knowledge of lifecycle management.
• Understanding of data transfer, APIs, and cloud-based applications.

Desirable Experience:

• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and banking industry practices.
• Experience with payment technologies and understanding of the payment industry.
