Business Account Manager
Business Account Manager – Animal Feed & Nutrition - UK Based - Hybrid Working Options - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Job:
We are seeking an experienced Business Account Manager to join a growing team in the UK. This exciting opportunity involves managing an existing portfolio of Animal Feed, VMS (Vitamin & Mineral Supplements) and Nutrition accounts while actively driving new business development within the sector. The role requires identifying and securing new opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships through exceptional service and tailored solutions and conducting in-person visits to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
You will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets, contributing to company growth objectives, and providing regular sales reports, market insights and performance updates. Collaboration with internal teams, including Sales Support, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics, will be key to success, as will representing the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings. As a brand ambassador, you will embody a customer-focused, proactive approach, playing a vital role in the company's continued success in the Animal Feed and Nutrition industry.

The Candidate:

  1. 3-5 years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development within the Animal Feed, VMS, or nutrition raw ingredients sector
  2. Strong knowledge of the UK market and customer needs in Animal Feed and Nutrition
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  4. A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales and account management
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
  7. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK, with occasional trips to Ireland or Europe

The Package:

  1. Basic salary of £55,000 DOE, plus a 10-15% performance-based bonus
  2. Monday-Friday working hours (9am-5pm, with a 4pm finish on Fridays)
  3. Company car allowance, mobile phone, and laptop
