SDLMinorfern is looking for a Logistics Co-Ordinator to come and join us at our Burton Branch. We are a respected and growing family business; known in our region as being a reputable and leading motor factor company – and we want you to join us!
If you have experience in fleet management, warehousing systems, and overseeing order processing then this could be the role for you!
Each working week consists of 45 hours, made up of 5 x 8.5-hour days Monday to Friday. Between the hours of 7.30 and 6.00pm which includes an additional 5 hours on every alternate Saturday in accordance with the rota. You are entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes.

What will the role be?
- Fleet and Staff Management providing a required service for customers within agreed delivery area for the branch
- Responsible for Branch SLA (Deliveries) and driving team.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a team of drivers, using IT software to support and deliver agreed delivery service to all customers, providing a customer 1st attitude and service.
- Assessing the best order to perform the deliveries in to meet customer expectations.
- To carry out multiple deliveries to our existing customer network, collecting cash on a daily basis from our existing customers.
- Ensure we offer high-quality all-round customer service, day in day out.
- To pick and pack parts in an accurate and timely manner.
- Be responsible for the care and maintenance of the fleet of vans including daily checks etc.
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety standards.
- To perform other general warehouse duties when required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Report any feedback / requirements from our customers to the Branch.
- Update all required paperwork on a daily basis
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept in a clean, maintained & road legal condition.
- Ad hoc jobs as required.

- Knowledge of the local area would be helpful and preferred but not essential.
Salary: £28,080 per annum.
