Burner

This is a full-time on-site role for a Burner, located in Hartlepool. The Burner will be responsible for cutting and managing scrap metal materials using gas or plasma cutting tools. Daily tasks include inspecting and sorting materials, maintaining safety standards, ensuring efficient processing, and cooperating with the recycling team to optimize material recovery. The Burner will also be tasked with maintaining cutting equipment and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications
• Experience with gas or plasma cutting tools and metal processing
• Knowledge of metal types and recycling processes
• Adherence to health and safety standards and protocols
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to handle heavy materials and operate machinery
• Previous experience in a recycling or industrial environment is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent education
