Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known social housing company based in West London who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team on a part-time basis.

They are looking for an experienced Surveyor who is proficient in managing Reactive Repairs, Voids, and damp projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to.
  2. Control the commercial aspects of the supply chain, maximizing leverage and working seamlessly within the business.
  3. Oversee some members of the team.

Key Requirements:
  1. Firm understanding of Schedule of Rates for Building Works and a disrepair building maintenance surveying background is desirable.
  2. Previous experience working in the social housing/local authority sector.
  3. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  4. Proactive approach to work.
  5. Proven track record of being reliable and punctual.
  6. Must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Key Knowledge:
  1. Social Housing, Building Contractor, and local authority industry knowledge.
  2. IT and Excel literate.
  3. HNC or equivalent surveying qualification required.
