Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor - Salary & Benefits

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (DOE).

Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor - Job Overview

1. Delivering a full range of building surveying services across residential, education, commercial, and public sector projects.
2. Conducting building condition surveys, defect analysis, and feasibility studies.
3. Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and contract documents.
4. Managing contract administration and project management duties.
5. Advising on statutory compliance, including building regulations, planning, and health & safety requirements.
6. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor - Job Requirements

1. Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
2. Working towards or achieved MRICS/MCIOB status (support provided).
3. Experience in a consultancy or client-side role.
4. Strong knowledge of construction, building regulations, and compliance.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
7. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
