Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Surveyor to join an award-winning, multidisciplinary consultancy which has been in operation for over 50 years. Due to the continued success of framework appointments and project wins, they are now seeking additional Surveyors to join their team. They will consider applicants who are yet to obtain their MRICS.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality building surveying services to a range of clients, including residential, education, healthcare, and commercial.
  2. Manage and lead surveying assignments from inception to completion within the fire safety team.
  3. Provide expert advice on building defects, condition reports, and asset management strategies.
  4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring delivery of services that meet client expectations.
Key Requirements:
  1. MRICS qualified (or on pathway to obtaining APC) with relevant experience in building surveying.
  2. Proven experience in leading building surveys and projects, and contract administration.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in using building surveying software and other relevant tools.
  6. Full UK driving licence for site visits and client meetings as required.
Salary & Benefits:
  1. Competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
