Job description

Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Leeds

Contract Length: 3 months minimum (ongoing)

Hourly Rate: £22-£26 p/h

Are you a qualified building surveyor with local authority experience looking for your next contract?

We are working with a local housing provider that is looking for a building surveyor with social housing and repairs experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre and post inspections for voids, repairs, and planned works
  • Diagnose complex repairs and advise the repairs team on necessary works
  • Oversee contractors undertaking works and provide updates
  • Provide technical advice to the repairs team and wider property service team when required
Requirements:
  • Have a relevant building surveying or construction qualification(s)
  • MRICS is preferred but not essential
  • Clean driver’s license with business insurance
  • Social housing and repairs experience
Benefits:
  • £22-£26 p/h (flexible based on qualifications/experience)
