Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Leeds

Contract Length: 3 months minimum (ongoing)

Hourly Rate: £22-£26 p/h

Are you a qualified building surveyor with local authority experience looking for your next contract?

We are working with a local housing provider that is looking for a building surveyor with social housing and repairs experience.

Responsibilities:

Carry out pre and post inspections for voids, repairs, and planned works
Diagnose complex repairs and advise the repairs team on necessary works
Oversee contractors undertaking works and provide updates
Provide technical advice to the repairs team and wider property service team when required

Requirements:

Have a relevant building surveying or construction qualification(s)
MRICS is preferred but not essential
Clean driver’s license with business insurance
Social housing and repairs experience

Benefits:

£22-£26 p/h (flexible based on qualifications/experience)
Long-term contract with likely extension
Early Friday finishes
