Building Surveyor Job in Manchester

Building Surveyor required for a well-established property consultancy in Manchester. This firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercial real estate solutions across offices, investments, and asset management. Due to recent growth and expansion, they are looking for a Building Surveyor to join their Manchester office. This role offers up to £55,000 + Bonuses.

Our client is a leading commercial property consultancy based in Manchester, specialising in office agency, investment, and asset management, offering strategic advice to landlords, occupiers, and developers. Their hands-on, proactive approach has contributed to some of the city's most notable office deals, shaping Manchester's business landscape. Combining market insight with a client-focused ethos, they provide tailored solutions that drive long-term value.

Role & Responsibilities
  1. Handling commercial building surveying tasks, including Acquisition Surveys, Schedules of Condition, and Project Monitoring.
  2. Project Management & Contract Administration for high-profile workspace fit-outs and refurbishments, with contract values from £50K to £20M.
  3. Preparing and negotiating Schedules of Dilapidations for both landlords and tenants.
  4. Working with a diverse client base, from corporate occupiers and SMEs to private equity investors and landlords.
  5. Contributing to business success through business development, pitching, networking, and PR.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
  2. AssocRICS or currently sitting APC.
  3. Experience working for a commercial Building consultancy.
  4. Working knowledge of JCT contract administration.
  5. Knowledge in Contract Administration and Cost Control.
  6. Someone with great client management skills.
