Excellent opportunity for a building surveyor to move to a unique public sector role where you will be given autonomy, variety, technical challenge and chances to progress.

This public sector organization has 43 buildings spread over 7 acres of land. They pride themselves on being a good employer due to their rich legal heritage, supportive and inclusive work environment, and commitment to professional development.

In this role, you will be managing a number of medium-sized projects up to £500k. This will include leading design teams, managing contractors on site, carrying out dilapidation inspections, carrying out defect inspections, and specification writing.

The role:

1. Covering 43 buildings over 7 acres.
2. Manage medium-sized projects up to £500k.
3. Working with the design team.
4. Managing contractors on site.
5. Carrying out dilapidation inspections.
6. Carrying out defect inspections.
7. Specification writing.
8. Modifying buildings for disabled access and sustainability.

1. Building surveying experience.
2. Experience dealing with private estates or commercial buildings.
3. RICS qualified or CIOB.
4. Candidates who have experience with historical buildings are encouraged to apply.
